My friend K. and I just came back from a wonderful trip to Italy. We spent a delightful 8 days touring Florence, Venice and Rome enjoying the sites, food and Italian hospitality. Argilentum Tours did a great job planning this trip for us and were available even during All Saint's Day when there was a problem with our hotel reservation. Our tour to Florence and Venice was a fantastic experience and we met many people with whom we became friends with. The hotels we stayed in were good value for money and located within walking distance to several amenities and Metro stations. The mishap with our hotel reservation did cause us some inconvenience, but Manuela took care of everything and we had a replacement hotel the next day. With so many tourists under Argiletum that week, I appreciate the attention that we were given on that. Having planned our trip with Argiletum gave us the peace of mind that our trip to Italy was well taken care of and it was. The driver was on time and the English speaking guide (Sabina) was very good. The trip was very enjoyable both going and returning with Sabina describing the country side. However, the best part was the walking tour in Florence with "Antonietta". She was "excellent"!!! Spoke 'excellent" English, had an "outstanding" knowledge of the city and history.
