We suggest departure from Rome at 7:30. Meet the driver at your hotel.

A drive through the green beautiful Umbria region. Along the way we will pass by Todi, Deruta, Trevi, Spoleto, with its 2 Worlds festival, and the many villages of Italy’s greenest region. Stop for coffee along the way.
After aprox. 2 hours reach Assisi and meet our local guide and enjoy 3 hours Private guided tour of San Francis Town.

Starting from the Porziuncola inside the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, everywhere one feels St Francis mysticism. An unforgettable walk through the narrow streets of the ancient town visiting the Church of Santa Chiara, the site where St. Francis was born, the Piazza del Comune (Town Hall square), and the Basilica of St Francis, which houses inside the tomb of the Saint and important frescoes from the 12th and 13th centuries by Cimabue and Giotto.

Free time for lunch, and continuing the visit on your own. At 4.00 meet the driver and return to Rome by 6,30/7.00 pm
