Terms of reservation

A minimum of 20 people is request for the package.

After confirmation we required 20% deposit of full amount, not refundable. Balance 45 days before the tour, 12 May 2025.
Payment can be done by credit card.

 

Cancellation Policy
Upon reservation till 45 days before arrival the 30% of deposit will not be refunded

For cancellations from 44 days to 30 days prior to the start of the activity will be charged a penalty corresponding to 20% of the total amount – For cancellations from 30 day up to 22 days will be charged a penalty corresponding to 30% of the total amount – For cancellations from 21 days up to 15 days will be charged a penalty corresponding to 50% of the total amount – For cancellations beyond this time limit, after arrival dates & no-show the total amount will be charged. Entrance tickets are not refundable.

***The program may be subject to change due to requirements by the Vatican and the Municipality of Rome for the Jubilee. These changes could include changes in schedules, alternative circuits for visits and routes.

Itinerary Proposal

 

22 June, 2025 (Day 1) Arrival – Rome 

Arrive in “the Eternal City, a city that offers unparalleled history that attracts millions of visitors from around the globe.  After you collect your bags and proceed through customs, you will meet Argiletum Tour assistant to be transferred to your hotel in Rome. Your assistant will help you with check-in procedure and he/she will provide you with general information. Rest of the day is free to relax. According to the time of arrival, join optional tours of Rome, or join a dinner in the animated district of Trastevere. Overnight at the hotel.

 

23 June (Day 2) Vatican City 

Today after breakfast you meet your guide at the hotel and walk together to the Vatican museums. Tour will begin with an overview of the history and visit to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Founded by Pope Julius II in the early 16th century and enlarged by successive pontiffs, the Vatican Museums boast one of the world’s greatest art collections. You will see the Hall of Tapestries and the Maps Gallery.
The highlight of your tour will be the Sistine Chapel, whose ceiling is covered with Michelangelo’s famous paintings of the “Creation” and “Last Judgment.”  After the Sistine Chapel your guide will take you to the magnificent Saint Peter ‘s Basilica, the largest church in Christendom. See the many treasures including the golden mosaics of the apse, Bernini’s bronze baldachin and the famed “Pieta” by Michelangelo.  Tour ends in St. Peter’s Square. Free time for lunch.
After lunch join with your guide an enchanting walking tour into the Rome of the Popes, among elegant shops and streets, 18th century buildings and churches more than 2 thousand years old!
From Castel Sant’Angelo to the most beautiful squares and fountains in the world: Piazza Navona with its Fountain of the Four Rivers, the Pantheon, best preserved temple of Antiquity, the Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain, to throw a coin in to ensure you will return to see the Eternal City again!
At the end of the tour free time for shopping near the Spanish steps. The guide will help people who wish to return to the hotel to get a taxi. Overnight at the hotel.

 

24 June (Day 3) Colosseum & Ancient Rome

Today after breakfast you meet your guide and driver at the hotel and transfer to the Colosseum. A walk in the heart of Ancient Rome, an area rich of historical memories, where the epic of the great Rome began. You will visit the Capitol Hill, Roman Forum, Column of Trajan and Imperial Fora and the imposing Colosseum, Rome ‘s most iconic symbol, where over 50,000 spectators would watch gladiatorial combats, (visit inside). You will skip the line at the Colosseum.
Tour ends near by the Colosseum. Your guide will provide you with all information and he/she will show you restaurants where to taste the typical Italian cuisine in the Ancient Monti district nearby the Colosseum, or after lunch visit on your own, the Basilica of St Peter in Chain to see the statue of Moses by Michelangelo. Rest of the day free and return to your hotel on your own.

 

25 June (Day 4)   Papal Audience and Transfer to Civitavecchia

After breakfast you will check out and leave the luggage at the hotel. Meet your assistant and walk to St. Peter’s Square to participate to Papal Audience with pope Francesco I. The audience will be held either on St. Peter’s square or in the Nervi Hall. At the end of the audience Pope gives His Blessing to all participants. Ends at aprox. 11:30am. Free time for lunch. Return to the hotel to collect the luggage and at 1:30pm transfer to Civitavecchia Port. End of our services. Arrivederci!
